Turkey is known of one of the most beautiful place. This country, mainly it`s capital Istanbul, has many historic buildings through ages. I chose few places from there and I posted them here including: Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace,
Basilica Cistern, Chora Church, and finally Suleymaniye Mosque.
Hagia Sophia
Is located in the capital, Istanbul, and was built in 537. From it`s construction date until 1453, total of 916 years, was a cathedral. For the next 478 years, up to 1931, Hagia Sophia was converted to a mosque. Finally from 1931 until today, it is opened only as a museum.
